Learning
Objectives
Upon
completion of this program, you should be able to:
- Recognize
the function and application of each type of hardware
- Understand
where to specify them correctly
- Know how
to apply them to fire doors, egress doors
and ADA compliant openings
- Coordinate
electrified hardware to hardware sets and preamble
Instruction
for use:
This
program can be completed in one 60 minute sitting. Upon completion,
1 LU HSW/SD will be awarded to AIA members and 2 CEP Points to DHI
members. A Certificate of Completion is available to print for your
records.
To
begin:
- Complete
each part of the program in the order as shown.
- Text
highlighted in red indicates key learning goals and objectives.
Click

- A Glossary
of Terms is available for reference.
- Upon completion
of each part of the program, a multiple choice evaluation must
be completed. Upon submission, results of your evaluation will
